First Wednesday French Film Series

Join former Duke French professor, Martha van der Drift, for our monthly French Film Series on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Kilton Library. Films in French with English subtitles. All evenings will begin with brief introduction are followed by a discussion.

A French conversation group precedes the films at 5:15, but you do not need to attend the group to enjoy the film!

Kilton Library French Conversation Hour. The first Wednesday of the month at 5:15. Former Duke French professor, Martha van der Drift, hosts a free, monthly French conversation hour. All levels are welcome to participate in an hour of relaxed conversation to practice French and meet other Francophiles. Topics and activities will evolve with interest.  A film in French follows the discussion, but participants do not need to attend both events (but, are certainly welcome too)!

Lebanon Library French Conversation Hour. Thursdays from 5:30-6:30. Former Duke French professor, Martha van der Drift, hosts a free, monthly French conversation hour. All levels are welcome to participate in an hour of relaxed conversation to practice French and meet other Francophiles. Topics and activities will evolve with interest.
