Chatting Safely Online

Lebanon Teen Room

Games, social media, and other online spaces give us opportunities to meet and chat with others outside the confines of our real-life communities. But how well do we actually know the people we're meeting and interacting with? Learn to consider whom you're talking to and the types of information you're sharing online.

Being Aware of What You Share

Lebanon Teen Room

We share a lot of information whenever they go online -- sometimes on purpose, sometimes not. But do you understand that online privacy isn't just what you say and post? Learn about your digital footprint and the steps you can take to shape what others find and see about you.

Computer Autopsy

Lebanon Teen Room

The Lebanon Public Libraries are retiring some older computers.  Rather than throw them in the landfill, we are using them for a program.

In this program, we will completely disassemble and then reassemble the computers going over each part and what it does.

This program is limited to 6 computers.  Children over the age of 12 may sign up on their own, or families can sign up together. Sign up to register.

Make Giant Bubbles!

Lebanon Teen Room

Sure, you could buy a bottle of basic bubble mix with an included plastic wand. Or you could come to the Lebanon Library and learn to make incredible bubble wands and get our super secret extreme bubble solution for GIANT bubbles all year long. The choice is yours.
