Meg McLean is a painter and children's illustrator living in Lyme, New Hampshire. 

She holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from Cranbrook Academy of Art.

Come see her landscape paintings displayed at the Kilton Public Library Community Room.

The exhibit runs through September.

Build a computer

The Lebanon public libraries are retiring some older computers.  Rather than throw them in the landfill, we are offering them to the public.  

In this program, we will completely disassemble and then reassemble the computers going over each part and what it does.  At the end of the program, you can take the computer home with you!

This is only for the computer, not a monitor, keyboard, or anything else.   

Lebanon Middle School art display

The latest Kilton Community Room art display features the works of Lebanon Middle School students. Check out the Donald Trump drawing. It captures the true essence of The Donald.

The Middle School art program teaches animation. One may view various animation videos created by students at the LEBMRART You Tube page.

These works will be on display until the end of March. In April, we’ll have works of art from Mount Lebanon School students.

When God Isn't Green - Book Discussion with the Author, Jay Wexler

Join Author and Boston University Law Professor, Jay Wexler as he discusses his newest book, When God Isn't Green.

Thursday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Kilton Community Room

In an excellent review, Booklist wrote, "Despite his findings, Wexler genuinely and thoughtfully wrestles with the tension between caring for the earth and caring for the people who find these rituals so meaningful."

Artists Patti Warren and Rosalie desGroseilliers Exhibit

It's watercolors galore at the Kilton Library Community Room! Come see colorful works from two local artists. Patti Warren is a certified art instructor and watercolorist. Rosalie desGroseilliers is an artist/teacher at RdG Studio in Hardwick, VT. Rosalie specializes in watercolors and painted glassware. Both artists will have their works on display during Library hours through January.

Screening of Citizenfour

Come see the Academy Award winning film Citizenfour at the Kilton Library.  This 2014 documentary tells the story of Edward Snowden and how his actions revealed NSA programs spying on US Citizens.  As a bonus, we will offer a free flash drive with the privacy enhancing operating system Tails on it.  This operating system is recommended by Snowden himself.
