September 3rd: Tristan Bellerive and Julie Ness

Tristan Bellerive and Julie Ness perform music of the American folk revivalist Joan Baez. This event co-presented by UVMC and Lebanon Libraries and will take place on the back lawn of the Kilton Library in West Lebanon. Bring a blanket or a picnic and enjoy these two talented teachers and performers, who have collaborated on many projects over the years, including performing Joni Mitchell’s Blue album.

 

Artist Bios:

Tristan Bellerive teaches guitar of all styles to all ages. After studying Jazz, Classical and World music at UMASS Dartmouth he has been performing and recording music throughout New England and Nashville, Tennessee. Soprano Julie Ness is a versatile performer of the opera and concert stage. After receiving her training at the Oberlin Conservatory she went on to make her professional debut with Opera San Jose in California and lived and worked on the West coast for many years in both operatic and concert repertoire, and performed in New York City before making her way to Vermont.
